Rescue Party will be soliciting donations to assist with software development, logistics, raising public awareness and other expenses. We are still in the process of establishing banking and accounting services. Current interest areas are:
- International transaction processing
- Anonymous VISA cash card services for handling the field expenses of relief personnel.

At this point, it appears that the local and state organizations are being
expected to fend for themselves. With the late federal response and the
non-existence of help in New Orleans of national organizations such as Red
Cross, RescueParty.org has decided to contribute the full proceeds from its
first fundraising event to a local foundation. Though, it has just been
formed and we are not totally sure of how the funds will be spent,
RescueParty.org has decided to contribute the funds from the December 4th
event at the Double Wide in Dallas, TX to The Louisiana Disaster Recovery
Fund, the official state relief fund. RescueParty.org will monitor how the
funds are utilized and will inform our visitors of the results.
